Virtual Show Program

Welcome to Changing the Narrative: Climate Stories for Justice at the MN Fringe Festival Aug 4-14, 2022.

About the Show

Produced by Jothsna Harris, founder of Change Narrative, the show is an evocative experience of the senses intended to connect both the head and heart on climate change and spur action on this critical issue of our time. Co-hosted by Emcee Rasheed Harris, this production features live, spoken narratives by Twin Cities-based climate justice organizers interspersed with graphic illustration, music, and poetry.  Featured storytellers include Whitney Terrill (Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light), Nicole Ektnitphong (Climate Advocacy Lab), and Leslee Gutiérrez Carrillo (COPAL); visual imagery by illustrator Lisa Troutman of Drawn Well and songwriters/poets Strong Buffalo and Ben Weaver (known together as the musical duo Buffalo Weavers).
